Open Settings → Reminders in the app and confirm the weekly reminder is switched on.
Then check the system permission: on iOS, Settings → Notifications → Retire Goals → Allow Notifications; on Android, Settings → Apps → Retire Goals → Notifications. The reminder needs at least one active goal — it references the goal closest to completion, and carries a "Log a contribution" button that takes you straight to that goal.
Open Settings → Restore Purchases. That re-checks your Apple Account or Google account and re-applies the upgrade. Make sure you're signed in with the same account you bought it on.
If it still doesn't restore, email us and we'll sort it out.
On the old device: Settings → Export Data, and save or share the JSON file. On the new device: Settings → Import Data, and pick that file. Goals, contributions, streaks, and milestones all come across.
Because nothing is stored on a server, this export is also your backup. There's no account to sign into, so we can't recover data for you if a device is lost.
It's optional. If you paste in your own free Alpha Vantage API key, the dashboard can show recent S&P 500 performance. Without a key the app makes no market requests at all, and every projection still works — projections are calculated on your device from the return rate you set on each goal.
Everything you enter stays on your device. There is no account, no sign-up, and no bank connection. We cannot see your goals, contributions, or any number you enter.
See the privacy policy for the full details, including what the ad SDK collects.
Deleting a goal removes it immediately. To remove everything, uninstall the app — because all data is local, uninstalling erases it completely. There is nothing left on a server to request deletion of.
Projections compound your current balance and your contribution schedule at the annual return rate set on that goal, and the finish date is where the curve crosses your target. Changing the return rate, the contribution amount, or turning on the inflation toggle (which shows everything in today's dollars) will all move the date.
No. It is a planning and projection tool. Every number comes from what you enter, markets vary, and past performance does not predict future results. Talk to a qualified financial professional before making decisions.
